In Dire Need of The All-Star Break

Friday night’s game was huge for the Celtics.  They finally seemed to be getting back into the groove of things, extending their winning streak to three with a 96-87 victory over the New Jersey Nets.  Oh, wait, did I just say the New Jersey Nets? Oh yea, they suck, so celebrating a win against them is like celebrating a win against a division 3 college team.

Maybe if I had realized that before, I wouldn’t have been so shocked by another heartbreaking 96-89 loss against the Magic this afternoon, at home nonetheless.  I mean this in the nicest way because I absolutely love Rajon Rondo, but what does it say when our shortest player is our highest scorer and almost highest rebounder?! It’s completely unacceptable.  Not only that, but they had to be up at the end of the 2nd quarter, and then completely blow it in the 2nd half.  Are you trying to torture us?!?!

Here are the highlights, if you think you can stomach watching.

Hopefully the all-star break will refresh the Celtic's health, spirits, and talent, because they really need it!

  2. Thank you Abby, I appreciate your interest in what I have to say! We're (wicked) far away from home, but who says we can't show our Massachusetts pride!! Go Boston!
